Iggy Pop and his puppet in new commercial for Swiftcover

The latest commercial for the British car insurance company Swiftcover features Iggy Pop and a puppet of himself riding in the passenger seat. Just a typical day in Iggy's world. The real Iggy Pop is seen wearing a shirt - a rare occurrence for the 62 year-old rocker known for his shirtless attire.

The first set of commercials Iggy did for Swiftcover in 2009 created controversy due to the fact that the company does not insure musicians. The matter was cleared up when Iggy explained during a press conference in France that, “in Britain it is not possible by law for a major insurance company to insure several occupations.” In true Iggy-fashion, he went on to say, "I don't care anyway. I did the gig, it was cool. I was good."
